- I became interested in makeup roughly a year and a half ago. I used makeup minimally throughout high school and college, but became too busy in graduate school to deal with the extras. When I finished graduate school, I began working and met a lovely young coworker . . . beautiful, stylish, and intelligent. It really inspired me to take a more active interest in my appearance. It was this friend that first introduced me to Mac. . . . I am a Mac junky! I had previously used mostly drugstore brands and Clinique. I have since branched out considerably. I prefer shopping at Mac, Sephora, and local drugstores. I am always on the search for excellent new products. Some of my favorite brands include: well, of course Mac, Benefit, Stila, Lorac, Maybelline, Revlon, and L'Oreal.
